Please join us in making Drama Boosters successful in helping the AHS Drama Department and students! Take a moment to read descriptions of our different volunteer activities to see if you could lend a hand. This is just a small list of opportunities we have. Come to a meeting to learn more about helping make this school year for the students great. See the document below for a more detailed explanation of Volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer Opportunities
Show Meals:
Help order food, pick up food, set up food, serve food, and clean up afterwards. Show meals are served to students and directors for a small fee during the week before the play and musical. The Boosters traditionally supplies one meal for free to them during the Thursday daytime performance because students miss their normal lunch times.
All help is welcome. There are many volunteer opportunities. Look for more information and a Signup Genius as we get closer to show times.
Concessions:
Boosters have many volunteer opportunites - help with Concessions sales during the fall play and spring musical! We sell baked goods, spirit wear, raffle baskets, Flowers with candy and break-a-leg-o'grams.
Look for the Signup Genius as we get closer to the performance dates. Volunteer by donating baked goods, giving your time and donating items for the raffle baskets.
Care Package Kits:
Boosters offers Survival Kits for sale to the general school population around the midterm exams and final exams. The Survival Kits have a variety of things in them to help your student get through the long hours of studying for these tests.
Volunteers help take orders, procure items for the bags. and sort the Survival Kits once they are assembled to distribute to students.
Fundraising:
Each year we fundraise in various ways. We are open to new ideas for fundraising and people to lead the way. This year we added a bake sale and a pallet painting party. All ideas are welcome.
Seasonal parties for the Drama Kids:
Parents volunteer to host a party during the school year. It is easy and fun. The kids are easy to please. Provide a space, place to put food, and watch them have fun. Our parties provide a way for the kids to get to know each other in the fall, celebrate the holidays and celebrate a great year in Drama.
Spring banquet:
Every May the Boosters has an end of year banquet for the students and their families. We always need extra hands to help set up and clean to make it a special occassion for the kids.
